We had a perfect winter day in Sydney recently, and it was taken full advantage of! This included two gorgeous models, a Ferrari 360, a brand new Lamborghini LP640, and a BMW M5 making occasional guest appearances in the background.

I've been adding to the Wild Creatures album again.  This time I've included photos from a recent trip to South Africa.  This means something a little different from the typical Australian natives, like an elephant, zebras, rhinos, and monkeys.

I've been lucky enough to be visited by a magnificent young Brown Goshawk (also known as an Australian Goshawk). The power that this bird exudes - even while perfectly still - is a beautiful thing.

I was cruising up through North Sydney when I realised there was an electrical storm in progress over the city.

With my camera on hand as usual, I made my way down to the harbour's edge.  Check out the results  here.

Arguably one of the prettiest of the Honeyeater family, I managed to photograph this Eastern Spinebill up close and personal. He didn't seem to mind that I was hanging around in the same Grevillia bush while he feasted.

Apparently he'll return to higher altitudes in the warmer months, so I hope he doesn't get confused about exactly when to retreat after the extreme weather we've been having!
